Clarington is a municipality located about 60 km east of Toronto in the Regional Municipality of Durham Region. It includes the Town of Bowmanville, Courtice, Newcastle, and the townships of Clarke and Darlington. Clarington is known for its mix of vibrant urban centres and rural enclaves making it a great place to live. There is something for everyone in Clarington from outdoor trails, sports fields, and provincial parks to indoor recreation complexes, art galleries, museums and community centres. There is a planned expansion of the Lakeshore East Go Train line that will include a Bowmanville Go Station which is expected to be completed by 2024 and this will make Bowmanville and the rest of Clarington more accessible for visitors and commuters.
